morass -- Hayden

mo·rass  (m-rs, mô-)
n.
1. An area of low-lying, soggy ground.
2. Something that hinders, engulfs, or overwhelms: a morass of details.

[Dutch moeras, from Middle Dutch maras, from Old French mareisprobably of Germanic origin; see mori- in Indo-European roots.]

Hayden enjoys playing soccer and basketball: I suppose traipsing through the morass to try to put a ball in a net isn't too bad for soccer, and basketball uses a hard court.
